GJLS Celebrates 55th Anniversary

Yearend Presentation (CJLA)
In June 2024, CJLA hosted its Year-End Presentation. Each class performed plays and readings in Japanese, impressing all the parents with their efforts. 学習発表会 2024年6月にCJLAで学習発表会が行われました。 各クラスが日本語で劇や朗読を披露し、保護者の前で頑張って発表する姿が印象的でした。

Spring Break Camp (CJLA)
In March 2025, CJLA held its first Spring Break Camp! Students practiced Japanese through fun activities like crafts, games, and songs. Nihongo-Son Test (BJLS)
On April 16, 2025, Burnaby Japanese Language School held the “Nihongo-son” test. “Nihongo-son” is an annual proficiency test designed to measure the students’ learning progress. Students spent time during their spring break reviewing and preparing for the test. Presentation Week (SJLSS)
The first week of June is a big week to present what students’ve learned all year. Students practice a lot and present confidently to parents and other guests. Richmond Cherry Blossom Festival (SJLSS)
