Presentation Week (SJLSS)
The first week of June is a big week to present what students’ve learned all year. Students practice a lot and present confidently to parents and other guests. Richmond Cherry Blossom Festival (SJLSS)
The Steveston Japanese Language School held a kimono demonstration at the Richmond Cherry Blossom Festival held at Garry Point Park on April 6, 2025. Spring Market (VJLS)
The “Spring Market” was held at Vancouver Japanese Language School on April 26. Delicious Japanese foods were sold, along with used books, hand-me-down clothes, second-hand kimonos, and Japanese character goods. The student council also sold mugs featuring designs selected through a public contest. 2025 Sports Day (SJLS)
The Surrey Japanese Language School held a Sports Day event on April 28th, 2025. Students and families had a great time together! Some students never had a experienced a Japanese-Style Sports Day event before, by everyone had a big smile on their face!
