JALTA (Japanese Language Education Promotion Association) held a two-day online teacher workshop for Japanese language teachers on Saturday, November 20th and Sunday, November 21st with the support of Japan Foundation Toronto.

This time, titled “How to treat children with disabilities and effectively run a class~” On the first day, Ms. Mariko Tate discussed inclusive education, and on the second day, Ms. Hudson Eitsuko gave a lecture on how to approach children with disability and useful multiplications in class, and it was a meaningful workshop that deepened our understanding of learning disabilities. This year it was once again online, with many Japanese teachers participating from home and abroad.

JALTA（日本語教育振興会）では、11月20日（土）、21日（日）の二日間、日本語教師を対象にしたオンライン教師研修会をジャパンファンデーション、トロントの支援の下開催しました。

今回は、「障がいを持つ子供に対してどう接し、効果的にクラスを運営するには～」というタイトルで1日目は、館真里子先生にインクルーシブ教育について、2日目は、ハドソン英津子先生にクラスでの接し方やNGな掛け言葉などについて講演いただき学習障がいへの理解を深められた有意義な研修会になりました。今年度もオンライン開催ということで国内外から多くの日本語教師が参加し盛況のうちに終了しました。
